Plakias is a beautiful coastal village on the southern coast of Rethymno that offers a unique and picturesque experience of the ideal summer destination in Greece. Highlight of the area is the landmark of Paligremnos. A vertical steep rock of 80 meters that rises above the village and the turquoise waters of the Libyan sea. A challenging destination for demanding climbers! But except Paligremnos, there are several climbing lines around and close to the area, suitable for any kind of level or difficulty.
